Although it's not always easy to see your own doctor you can be seen fairly quickly by other doctors from the practice. The facilities are good with scans and blood tests carried out at the surgery good nurses and a handy pharmacy. The only criticism is parking.

It is virtually impossible to get an appointment the same week. I have called the surgery before to get an appointment and was number 37 in the queue and held on for 40 min to then be told there were no more same day appointments. When I ask the receptionists how to get an appointment that same month she told me to pop into the surgery and queue up and hopefully I would be able to get a same day appointment. I think its ludicrous to have to go in at 08:00 to then hopefully get an appointment for later on in the day. I don't understand why the surgery are accepting new patients when they are past their full capacity. When I had my appointment on the 14th I was told I would hear back that week because the Dr. wanted advise from her colleagues. Today 02/08 I phoned back because I hadn't heard back and it was because the Dr is on holiday.

It is difficult to make an appointment it often takes 30mns to get through. There is no consistency in which Dr is given, which means everything has to be repeated to explain what is wrong. All this in 10mns. The surgery is overloaded, but the staff manage to smile throughout.

What can i say, every time 've wanted an appoitment i've had one. If follow up was needed it happened. Every doctor i've seen has been friendly and i've felt like a real person. The receptionists and telephonists are friendly efficient and never seem in a rush to get rid of you. What more can i say or want. This has always been the service my wife has had. But if, to provide this service, the doctors, nurses and staff at Park Surgery are under strain and i'me sure that shear volumes make this so, they are extremely good at not showing it. Thank you so much and keep up the good work.
